EU Withdrawal from Contract

For eligible ready-to-ship items only.

Due to the nature of my work, the majority of pieces offered by Alison Macleod Jewellery are made to order, commissioned, personalised or otherwise created specifically for an individual customer and therefore do not qualify for the statutory right of withdrawal.
A small collection of jewellery is available as ready-to-ship. If you are purchasing from within the European Union and have ordered an eligible ready-to-ship piece, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.
This right applies only to eligible ready-to-ship jewellery and does not apply to bespoke commissions, made-to-order pieces, personalised jewellery, engraved items, resized pieces, or any work created or adapted specifically for you.

WHAT TO DO

If you wish to withdraw from your purchase, please fill out and submit the form below within 14 days of receiving your order. Once your request has been received, we will confirm receipt by email as soon as possible and provide instructions for returning your jewellery safely, including the return address and next steps.
Please wait until you have received these instructions before sending your item back, so that we can ensure your return is correctly logged and processed.

Important notes

The statutory right of withdrawal applies only to eligible ready-to-ship items. It does not apply to bespoke commissions, made-to-order jewellery, personalised designs, resized items or jewellery made or adapted to your specification.
If your order includes both an eligible ready-to-ship item and a bespoke or customised piece, only the eligible ready-to-ship item may fall within the statutory withdrawal right.
Returned items should be sent back in their original packaging and in suitable condition. Once your return has been received and checked, any refund due will be processed in line with your statutory rights.

If you are unsure

If you are not certain whether your purchase is a ready-to-ship item or a bespoke / made-to-order piece, please contact us before submitting the form and we will be happy to help.

RETURNING YOUR ITEM

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you are responsible for returning the item to Alison Macleod Jewellery no later than 14 days after we have accepted your decision to withdraw.
The cost of returning the item is your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service, as the item remains your responsibility until it reaches us safely.
Alison Macleod Jewellery cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit during return shipping.
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, any refund due will be processed using the original payment method.

EU WITHDRAWAL REQUEST FORM

Please use this form only for eligible ready-to-ship items. Bespoke, made-to-order and customised jewellery is excluded from the EU statutory right of withdrawal.
